This is great news. I especially like the fact that it is a pgn file. Much easier for me to work with.
I wish the entire book was in pgn. I am still perplexed that in this date and age publishers are so reluctant to release pgn files with books.

Is there a reason why a black move order ‘against’ the standard catalan setup isn’t possible? I think of the ‘triangle’ setup, e.g. 1.d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. Nf3 e6 and if 4. g3 then 4…dxc4 5. Bg2 b5 etc. (o.k. may BA recommends 4. e3) But what about 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Sf3 c6? Should White still play e3? What’s then about transpositions to the Dutch Stonewall where White is playing e3 which is not the repertoire setup. Or do I talk nonsense?
I am sorry to say that as far as I can see, this unfortunately is nonsense. Chapter 16 in volume one deals with 4.e3 f5.
Lyndell: It is fairly obvious that a .pgn e-book would be very easy to download illegally. One persons only needs to buy it and post it on the internet for thousands to read for free.
