Fun little Tarrasch Game

I have rarely seen a piece trapped so nicely as in this little game I just played on PlayChess with Black.

Guess getting a knight to d6 doesn’t equal winning in all endgames!? That one on d6 looks more like a bratwurst than a game closing goat. Nice one!

Didn’t Fischer say “A knight on f5 is like a foot to the knee”?

Apparently, a knight on d6 is horse meat! LOL!

Kasparov is the one who said “Knight to f5 and the game wins itself.”

    GM Aagaard:

Could you please post the entire PGN for the game? I like my records to be complete. ๐Ÿ™‚

    GM Aagaard:

And your game is an excellent example of the trapping theme that I call “YOU CANNOT GO FORWARD IF YOU CANNOT GO BACK!”.

I think a PGN is a bit much for a blitz game. Copy and paste will be enough.

I am unable to download any PDF excerpts from your site right now.

Works fine for me. Maybe you are using some alien browser we are not configered for. Would be odd, but this is the first guess.
