Free ‘Book of the Month’ – November/December

We are continuing our special offer – if you buy three books or more and live inside the European Union (as defined by UPS) we will send you an extra book free. Recently the default option on the free book has been Grandmaster Battle Manual but we will change that now to POSITIONAL CHESS SACRIFICES by GM Mihai Suba.

But if you already have Positional Chess Sacrifices or would prefer a different free book, then send us an email with your order, asking to have it replaced with one of the following titles:

GRANDMASTER VERSUS AMATEUR
GRANDMASTER BATTLE MANUAL
REGGIO EMILIA 2007/2008
TACTIMANIA
TRUE LIES IN CHESS
CHAMPIONS OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM
SAN LUIS 2005
ATTACKING THE SPANISH
CUTTING EDGE 1: THE OPEN SICILIAN
CUTTING EDGE 2: SICILIAN NAJDORF 6.Be3

    @Quality Chess
    I wanted to post this question under Publishing Schedule in general, but don’t know how – so this is where I chose to ask (I am sorry in advance for maybe not selecting the right place).

    Is there ANY chance that we will see a future work on the Pirc Defence ? I know it’s been up before here on the forum, but don’t really recall the answer (if there was an answer).

    I am considering buying the Marin-series from ChessBase, but am thinking I would rather want to have something similar in form of one or more books. Could this be an idea for yet another GM Repertoire series ?

    Unlikely, but for a regular customer buying 3 books and making a one-off request, maybe.

    @Alexander

    I think there is a very definite chance of a Pirc book someday.

    No, seriously – it would really be good news to me. Have QC had anything concrete on the drawing board with a specific author yet ?
