Olympiad Round 3

John did not want to play me, so I blundered against Alan Tate instead. The team captain wants me to “get going” so I am in play again today. The fog in my head is lifting; maybe I will play well today. Who knows!

    I would have liked to see you continue fighting Tate, albeit down a pawn.

    You’re a lion – Claw and bite out there today Jacob.

    @Jesse
    Unfortunately I was also going to lose the b7-pawn, after which there was no fight to be had.

    True SPIRIT of the Game
    Comparing this to the event in the London Olympics, when players were disqualified for trying to loose the match because they did not live up to the spirit of the game – TO GIVE THE BEST.
    In the past Bobby Fischer had also accused the Russians of not playing to give their individual best.

    As you have admitted your efforts to not give your best, what action can FIDE take against deliberately trying to loose one’s game ??

    Jacob Aagaard :@Zwastik Idiot.

    I asked a legitimate question and your reply is not conformant to the standards which Quality Chess has maintained.
    May I know why you called me such ?

    Andrew is in charge (scary!); Jesse is doing the website, but does not get his hands dirty.

    @Zwastik
    Read your comments again. People who like to come with this sort of abuse in what is essentially someone elses house deserves to be told that their behaviour is, well, idiotic.
